hi all,


my dear housemates are looking for someone to join our lil community in the
lower rattlesnake. me & my sweetie are moving out of state, but this is one
of the coziest & kindest living situations we've had in our several years
in Missoula & we'd be staying if we could :) we would love to find a great
match to join our two remaining roomies!

we affectionately refer to our home as the Tree House because it's
surrounded by TREES. there's a lovely, big backyard with a fire pit & a
small space for gardening. we're on a quiet street right across from the
Bugbee Nature Preserve -- you could walk out the door & arrive at
Rattlesnake Creek in under a minute (it's basically your front yard). ample
parking out front -- room for 4 cars easily, & 5 with a little focus.

one small dog lives here & other pets are welcome as long as they're
compatible with Peanut. there may also be a cat here soon!

you'll be living ppl who are composed of various identities (as we all
are), incl: queer, trans, BIPOC, white, gen Z - gen X, cutie pies; with
invisible disabilities, joyful quirks, etc.

available: Dec. 15th, 2023 (earliest) // January 1st, 2024 (latest)

size of house: ~1,200 sq ft

rent/utilities: $725/ month + ALL utilities (which are split equally,
approx. $80/person).

we haven't lived here through a winter yet, but the house stayed super nice
& cool over the summer w/o ever really using the A/C, so we're confident
it's pretty well insulated.

the rooom: two windows (facing backyard/ east & neighbors/ south); a nice
closet. we managed to fit two adults, a dresser, a bookcase, a desk, a
clothes rack, & a king bed in here. it's been cozy as heck!

looking for someone who...

* is interested in getting to know & caring about their roommates, living
space, & neighborhood

* takes initiative to help around the house w/ chores, & is excited about
collaborating w/ roommates to create systems of home-care that work for all
& feel equitable

* is down for house dates (meals, meetings, etc.) on occasion

* pays bills on time

* is cool w/ quiet hours (~11p weekdays)

* does not drink v much alcohol at home

* agrees to no smoking tobacco in home

* can have conversations around accountability & impact when the need arises

* loves animals & cares about the earth

* is comfy taking care of the house alone if any of us have to leave for a
time

* has empathy & healthy boundaries

* loves weirdness, silliness, & self expression
