Hello again!
This email is your monthly reminder about upcoming Homeword Financial Skill Building and Get Ready for HomeOwnership classes. Note the change in the date of our Financial Skill Building class from April 6 to April 20. Please see the attached flyers and brochure.

We will also offer a new post-purchase class this spring. Changes, challenges and opportunities can come up for homeowners at the most unexpected of times. In response to the current needs and concerns of the participants in our HomeOwnership Center classes, our homebuyer educator and trusted partners at HomeResource, Missoula Urban Demonstration (MUD) Project and ClimateSmart Missoula are creating a post-purchase class. The post-purchase class is just for homeowners to help them stay up to date with information and resources to protect their largest asset. The course will include:

*         Area market update

*         Calculating affordability for home loans and other loans

*         Credit and budgeting strategies for the long term in the face of rising costs

*         Review of products to help you access equity in your home

*         Financial resources for Montana homeowners and how to access them

*         Resources and skill building for home maintenance on a budget

*         Information and resources for adding sustainability to your homeownership

This email is your monthly reminder about upcoming Homeword Financial Skill Building and Get Ready for HomeOwnership classes. Please see the attached flyer and brochure. The homebuyer flyer lists our classes in February  and March, but we have a few spots left in our homebuyer class next week<mailto:https://homeword.org/event/homebuyer-education/> as well! We're getting started on a new rack card design to replace the brochure as well as new flyers. I can't wait to share those with you!
