Hello there!
NorthWestern Energy is about to decide how it will power our homes,
schools, and neighborhoods for the next 20 years—and that means we have a
say in what kind of future we build together.
When we come together, we can push for energy that keeps power bills
affordable and protects the world our kids will inherit. For most Montana
families, the electric bill isn’t optional—it’s what keeps the heat on in
winter and the lights on. But when NorthWestern invests in expensive,
unnecessary projects, those costs land in our monthly bills for decades. At
the same time, the way we power our communities shapes our kids’ future.
Cleaner energy means less pollution and a more stable climate where
everyone can thrive.
*Learn, Then Speak Up*
You don’t need to be an energy expert to get involved—you just need to care
about your family, your neighbors, and your community. This week, join MEIC
for a short, virtual info session that breaks down NorthWestern’s new
20‑year Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) in plain language and explains what
questions to ask.
