Family and Consumer Science Ag Extension Agent Kelly Moore
<http://www.missoulaeduplace.org/family-and-consumer-sciences.html> will
help you flex your food preservation muscles by leading this salsa canning
workshop. In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity
to learn the steps of hot water bath canning and take home a jar of local
salsa. Kelly is knowledgeable in safe practices for many types of canning
and food processing, so bring questions! Beyond hot water bath canning, she
will discuss pressure canning and the food safety guidelines around home
canning.
