We offer business and community facility loans, New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) enhanced financing, and we recently launched a mortgage down payment gift program. MICDC is seeking a smart, dedicated, mission-driven individual to join the lending team as a Loan processor.

Someone who is comfortable in a dynamic environment, who is highly flexible and adapts quickly to change, someone who has meticulous attention to detail, is organized and can manage lots of information, and someone who can bring both humor and intellect to the team.

A Typical Day Might Include

*         Creating accurate loan documents

*         Working with clients and other business professionals to gather information required to close a loan

*         Processing and closing SBA and in-house loans

*         Scheduling loan closings

*         Working with bank partners, title companies and clients to ensure a smooth loan closing
You have

  *   Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  *   Strong technology skills and ability to learn new technology quickly

*         Strong written and verbal communication skills with team members, borrowers, and outside professionals

*         A high level of self-awareness and strong prioritization abilities

*         Ability to effectively work with a wide range of clientele
Your Job Will Primarily Consist of

  *   Creating loan documents
  *   Gathering required documentation
  *   Ensuring all approval conditions have been met by understanding the credit presentations and what loan documents are needed for each loan type
  *   Ensuring accuracy of all documentation
  *   Understanding various lending requirements including insurance requirements, title insurance, lien filings and compliance requirements
