In this course, we'll explore love--its manifestations, its expressions, and
its inconsistencies--through several lenses, including the psychological and
the spiritual. We will draw from, among others, Sufi traditions on love as
well as other mystics, mythologies, and religions to help us explore the
inconsistencies and the fictions present in love--both the deep, soulful
love as well as the more superficial love.

This 7-week course will use the stories of our lives as fodder for
introspection, creativity, and pure medicine to provide a multi-faceted path
that brings together intentions, breath, self-encouragement, observation of
and interactions with nature, and unbounded creativity. We will use ritual
as a basis for a safe and creative space which will allow us to turn toward
humor and laughter, build awareness of others, and fill this world with an
open-handed generosity that flows from the heart.
