[MCN] Matthew Hansen Endowment for Wilderness Studies

The University of Montana Wilderness Institute is now accepting proposals
to the Matthew Hansen Endowment for Wilderness Studies. The Endowment funds
projects promoting the protection, enhancement, and understanding of
wilderness, the value of conservation and preservation of wildlands, and
the protection of our wilderness resource in Montana. All proposed projects
must be clearly tied to wilderness studies and focus on historical
research, creative writing, or your own intersecting interests.



Two funding opportunities are available: Matthew Hansen “Clearing” Grants,
which fund project expenses ($500-$2500) and Matthew Hansen Wilderness
Inspiration Fellowships ($5000).



Application deadline: May 18, 2022.



Eligibility: Open to all.
